Very brief report today. Mostly wet and very cold. Whilst driving around saw an amusing sight, a grey (yellow cloured of course) wagtail using a log trapped on a circling mass of rubbish in the tidal millpool as a perching spot.
Fished for a couple of hours out of back of the charabanc which was a bit strange. One belter of a take on sardine, tip round and baitrunner screeching. On for a few thumps and boils then off. Hooks had slipped down to tail of bait. Kept everything dry though for tomorrow's big day out to an undisclosed Midlands stillwater.
