Monday and on the train to catch up with schoolmates I haven't seen for nearly 50 years. It wasn't a 'good' school and most of us were probably sent there because someone thought we weren't very 'good'. I left in 76, as it had suddenly closed, to re-open in another iteration. Anyhoo, we're hoping to meet up again with a few others next May back at the old place which is now a secluded des res community. We've all made something of our lives, some far more exciting than mine but I don't think any of us would recommend sending children to boarding school. Amazing how the memories easily flowed, along with the beer. Andrew, the tall American who got us all together probably wont be rushing home to extol the virtues of an English Pie and Mash though I did like my steak and stilton pie, a slightly more substantial version of the sadly discontinued Greggs steak and stilton roll.
A great day Dean, Andrew, Phillip and Clifford. Get amongst those trout Dean.
