That fellow looks to be quite an adversary.
ReplyDeleteOn what was reasonably light tackle (5 pound line, float road with test curve about 12 ounces) and of course no wire trace to avoid those sharp teeth as it was not the intended quarry it dd pull back very well. Think Northern Pike ?same species Esox lucius?.
